# Issuing Mechanisms

nStables can be issued by purchasing and are backed by different types of collateral. nStables issuance method is battle-tested and present a track record in the crypto ecosystem. 

nStables have a hybrid collateralization system: they can be issued with the backing of other cryptocurrencies, fiat money and other assets.
